This was initially written as response to a slut sympathizer who, after I suggested that “Halloween serves as a yearly reminder that most girls/women are desperately pathetic,” asserted that “they just like having one day they can dress slutty without being judged” and that I “clearly can’t get girls like them.”
What you fail to understand is that a slut is a slut whether it’s under the guise of a Halloween “costume” or not. Any drooling caveman that enjoys cleavage and short skirts on October 31st is going to enjoy cleavage and short skirts just as much on October 30th, November 1st, and every other day of the year. In their eyes, a piece of meat one day is a piece of meat the next. Context is a non-issue.
No intelligent or insightful guy looks at any of you and thinks, “gee, that’s a skimpy outfit, but I’m sure she’s a very level-headed, well-rounded, worthwhile girl 364 days out of 365.” Because you’re not. You’ve shown your true colours, and they’re ugly.
On the matter of “getting” girls like that, I would be ashamed of myself, because doing so would require dumbing myself down to appeal to that class of people. The sluts and the guys who think with their dicks are made for each other, just as white trash is meant to work at McDonald’s; someone has to fill the mindless position, but I’d be selling myself short.
For the record, I have a very attractive girlfriend. She has a strong set of morals, she is well educated, and she thinks on a higher level than Halloween slut enablers could ever aspire to. Even if she were obese and monstrously deformed, I’d still choose someone like her over one of these girls. Mind over matter.
So don’t kid yourself. We’re still judging.
